We are aware of the fact that protecting the info-communication systems from unauthorized attacks is an extremely important, high-priority task. ReferenceIn consortium with Ericsson, we are implementing IT groundwork for integrated rescue service with single emergency number „112“. Our task in this mega project - to be completed after 2010 - is design and implementation of infrastructure, supporting systems and security solutions. During year 2002, we built contact operator centers in all major Slovak cities. These centers switch the „112“ calls to individual rescue services such as ambulance, police, fire-department or mountain rescue service. Current project phase is focused on system update, completion of infrastructure and implementation of expert system for managerial support. Next phases of the project will group agents from individual sections into one place, enabling close cooperation for more effective solving of critical situations. Tools like graphical information system or geographic positioning system will be implemented and integrated. |
